About The Artist:
Born in 2003, visual artist, focusing primarily on painting and graphite work, as well as varied mediums of sculpture. Developed skills as a working visual artist at the CLARA Catalyst mentorship program, through developing connections and practicing with full time Sacramento based artists. Currently working on a Bachelors in Fine Arts at California State University Chico.
He moved from Japan in 2005, and grew up in Sacramento, CA. His work mixes realism with the abstract in hopes of eliciting a reaction from the viewer, most recently through the “(ego series)”. These pieces are easily differentiable, seen through the loud black rectangle, which is a persistent theme through his “(ego series),” signifying a multitude of meanings, from modern depression as well as a fresh perspective of the current affairs of this world through the lens of social media and the internet generation.
