Chandra said, "I am inspired by the 80’s New Wave and 90’s punk rock. I paint intuitively and this one popped up while I was creating a lot of abstract paintings. Using my signature journal mounting in the background with orange, yellow and my pink drop drip and drag painting technique."

More About the Artist

Throughout the years, Chandra has created many paintings of strong women. She enjoys creating mixed media art because it gives her the freedom to express herself with many mediums. She enjoys journal mounting a release of feelings through words. Her paintings are created through intuition, usually mixed media and abstract featuring a strong woman. Her technique of drag, drip and doodle is seen throughout her backgrounds. Chandra is currently a Capitol Art Box Revival Artist and has been featured in art shows around the Sacramento area over the last 6 years. She is currently teaching Kids Art Classes.
