Original 12”x12”x5/8” acrylic painting of a Day of the dead Catrin (male skeleton) with a sombrero and a Corona bottle in hand. This whimsical piece is my tongue in cheek play on the Corona virus. Title:”it was the pinche corona”. (It was the damn Corona). Either the drink killed him or the virus. Day of the dead is an important celebration in Mexico honoring deceased loved ones.
