Decopaged tobacco box upcycled into a purse/memory box with images of Frida as a wounded deer and broken column with her quotes, "Don't build a wall around your suffering. It may devour you from the inside." and "I am not sick. I am broken". Frida has suffered greatly in her life both physically and emotionally. I love the colorful image of The Day of the Dead skull and is part of the Mexican culture. Bronze lock & corner protectors and brass chain handle. Inside the box bottom is lined with black felt and the lid is decopaged gold paper with Viva la Vida quote. This one of a kind box measures 13"w x 8 1/2"h x 1 1/2"d.
