Leaves of Gray is a monoprint printed on a hand made paper using leaves from a hike last autumn. The medium used is acrylic paint. The print is mounted on a black cradle board measuring 5" x 7" x 1 1/2". The cradle board allows the piece to be hung on the wall or placed on a table or shelf. It has been given a protective coat.
About the Artist
Pam is a native Californian and a local Sacramento artist. She holds a BFA from the California College of the Arts with a major in Design. She has continued her education with many online & studio classes in watercolor, acrylics and cyanotypes. Pam has traveled throughout the United States during her life immersing herself in nature at each stop. The photographs & sketches from these travels are what have & continue to inspire much of her work. When not creating or traveling Pam is usually off hiking and birding local haunts. She supports her favorite haunts through donations of money earned from her artwork and donations of her art work for auctions.
