This is an original cyanotype which is a form of alternative photography. Cow Parsnip was placed on sensitized paper, sprayed and exposed to the sun. After exposure, the print was rinsed, dried & cured. The sprays have brought out blue, teals, a hint of gold and whites. Ink & watercolors were used to enhance the print once cured. The print was mounted on a cradle board measuring 6" x12" x 7/8" and given a protective coat. The print was created in Sacramento.
