About the Artist
Brynn makes soft toys from felt and select home goods from recycled materials. They do their best to source locally (from thrift stores and small businesses), and make sure that all off-cuts from soft items are remade into the stuffing.
"Handcrafts have been a consistent part of my life for the past 20 years. Learning by watching both of my grandmothers and my own mother, I always wanted to know more. This led to classes at The Tin Thimble and building my skill set to include a wide variety of craft types. Everything from sewing, knitting, and crochet to Brazilian embroidery, traditional black-work, and spinning."
Making pieces that are fun and quirky bring them such joy, it's an easy way to spend weekends when they aren't volunteering at the Sacramento Community College Library Archives after receiving their degree in Library and Information Technologies.
