5 1/2 inch diameter dark brown pine needle basket made with dark brown Irish linen thread. The center is gold leaf and black wood. The edge is finished with cream thread.
About the artist: Jennie J Malloy is a Sacramento based artist who has been creating many different types of art since she was a teenager. In 2010 she began studying with the Southern California based basketry artist Margaret Schultz. She began writing poetry as a teenager and published a book of poetry in 2021.
