About the Artist
Laurel Marana creates surreal sculptures made from familiar found objects. She incorporates upcycled materials into her artwork to drive the eco-conscious facet of her content. Guided by her eclectic Earth-based spirituality, her art process is also a procedure in magic. Marana conceptualizes art as a facilitation for transformation, and her artistic intention is to inspire personal confrontation in our relationships with ourselves, each other, and the Earth.
