Referencing an iron maiden, a geode, or a chrysalis, "Metamorphosis in the Key of G Minor" makes a confrontational statement regarding the process of transformation. Sometimes pain is associated with growth. Like a geode freshly broken apart, the interior is sharp and opulent. The exterior glass mosaic acts as a protective chrysalis shell.
