About the Artist
Maggie Devos creates repurposed and upcycled jewelry and clothing inspired by the colors, history, and folklore of Frida Kahlo. Maggie Devos's clothing line, including vests, jeans, jean jackets, classic jackets, corsets, and handbags are upcycled and embellished artfully with jewels, appliques, and image transfers.
She is very proud of her Mexican culture and heritage and incorporates it into her work. Maggie studied at California State for interior design.
