Description

It’s time to be outside! The grill is over there teasing and the people we love lay on a picnic blanket, smiles wide. The dog begs for yummies and warmth is everywhere. Man we love summer! We use the anytime plaid blanket in vibrant hues of yellow, green red and black for picnics, as a tablecloth, to wrap around ourselves, you name it! It’s the perfect companion for cloud spotting and star gazing, poolside and campsite. We have one in the trunk of our car at all times, ready for an impromptu picnic or afternoon nap under a tree. This fabric becomes softer and more lovely the more you use it.

MEASUREMENTS: Approximately 4x6 feet

MATERIALS: 85% Cotton 15% Poly

CARE: The blanket will shrink upon washing and will expand again with use. Can be used in the washing machine and dyer. Do not use bleach.

More About the Artist

Janine Mapurunga is a multifaceted artist who loves to create in a multitude of mediums. A documentary photographer of twenty years, Janine delved into the realm of textiles, where she finds incredible joy playing with vibrant colors. Her inspiration comes from having been raised by her grandma and great grandma in a rural town in Brazil, where food was prepared on a wood-burning stove and clothes were made in a manual singer sewing machine. From these simple family memories comes inspiration for every piece she creates. Volte sempre!
