About the artist:
JD Mims has spent the last 15 years living and working in Sacramento. As a local artist he's had works hanging in various frame shops, restaurants, and Kaiser Permanente Hospitals. He travels all over the world in pursuit of artistic creation capturing the emotion of landscape photography. JD was born and raised in Chicago and moved to Sacramento to further his career in medicine. Photography was his way of tapping into the beauty, complexity and uniqueness of life and people.
