This is an original cyanotype which is a form of alternative photography. The print was rinsed, dried & bleached to create the warm gold tones. Watercolor and ink were used to enhance the leaves. The print was mounted on a cradle board measuring 10" x 10" X 7/8" and given a protective coat. This item was created in Sacramento, CA.
About the Artist
Pam is a native Californian and a local Sacramento artist. She holds a BFA from the California College of the Arts with a major in Design. She has continued her education with many online & studio classes in watercolor, acrylics and cyanotypes. Pam has traveled throughout the United States during her life immersing herself in nature at each stop. The photographs & sketches from these travels are what have continued to inspire much of her work. When not creating or traveling Pam is usually off hiking and birding local haunts. She supports her favorite haunts through donations of money earned from her artwork and donations of her artwork for auctions.
