This is an original cyanotype which is a form of alternative photography.  Dried hydrangea blooms were placed on sensitized Eco paper with various sprays to create texture & tones and then exposed in the sun.  After exposure, the print was rinsed, dried & cured.  It was then given a bleach bath and after drying, some watercolor was added to enhance the print.  It is mounted on an 8" x 10" x 7/8" cradle board and has been given a protective coat.  It may be hung on a wall or placed on a table or shelf.  It was created in Sacramento, CA.

About the Artist
Pam is a native Californian and a local Sacramento artist.  She holds a BFA from the California College of the Arts with a major in Design. She has continued her education with many online & studio classes in watercolor, acrylics and cyanotypes.  Pam has traveled throughout the United States during her life immersing herself in nature at each stop.  The photographs & sketches from these travels are what have & continue to inspire much of her work.  When not creating or traveling Pam is usually off hiking and birding local haunts.  She supports her favorite haunts through donations of money earned from her artwork and donations of her art work for auctions.
