I took two months to finish this painting. I added the first layer with acrylic, the second layer with acrylic base texture, the third layer with oils, and so on. I tried to create the time flow on the canvas to use color of depth. I wanted to tell viewers the winds and the lights what people or I saw at San Francisco near a beach.
About the Artist
Yoshiko Castleberry, born near Tokyo, Japan, studied at Alburquerque, New Mexico in the later 2000s, then moved to Sacramento, California where she worked building art skills. She learned about colors and lights for her arts, and then she found her art style.
