Description

Brighten up your kitchen, or someone's day with this sunny combo! Set includes: one "sunflower & bees" bowl cozy (8" x 8"), two yellow hand-crocheted 100% cotton dishtowel holders with sunflower towels, and one white hand-crocheted 100% cotton dishcloth (9" x 9").

About the bowl cozy: Burned fingers are a thing of the past! These reversible cozies are handmade with 100% cotton and are microwave safe. Simply place your bowl of food in the cozy and reheat as usual. Remove your bowl with the cozy to avoid burning your fingers. Also great for cold foods! Reversible and machine washable.

Lovingly created by one of our sewing program teachers, and crocheted by one of our guests.

Since 2012 the Art of Being program at Wellspring has contributed to the well-being of our guests by: offering creative and cultural activities to celebrate our diverse community in Oak Park and surrounding neighborhoods; offering expressive therapy using the healing potential of art to address trauma; and offering art, sewing, and craft workshops to expose women to the joy of learning a new skill and creating art for themselves, their families, and community. All creative opportunities are offered for free within a trusted neighborhood gathering place. Learn more at https://www.wellspringwomen.org/artofbeing
