About the Artist
My name is Elizabeth Stone Turner, and I am the creator of Stone Turner Creations. I've loved to create all kinds of art since I was a little girl growing up in the forests of Northern California. My father was a jeweler and I loved to watch him work the fire and metal to create beautiful artistic pieces. He taught me the basics and then let me roll with it. I later attended a trade school for jewelry making, but after having my two wonderful sons I didn't have the time to spend on my jewelry making until one day my husband brought home some wire from a house that had burned down, where he was working as an electrician. That's where my wire art started. I rekindled my artistic passion by creating new life from these fine copper wire scraps that would have been sent to the dump or scrapped. I love having the chance to create again and it's something I can do while taking care of our 2 kids our 4 dogs, cats, lizards and numerous foster kittens. I hope you enjoy them too. I use a portion of the sales of my creations to assist in my other passion of rescuing animals. For much of my life I have worked with non-profit organizations and animal shelters to save all manner of creatures, mostly orphaned kittens. I love bringing life back to those beautiful animals and giving back to my community.
