This lovely greeting card is black with silver leaves but also has another variant with gold leaves. It is hand-made from special art paper and features real skeleton leaves on the cover. It is designed to be framed once it has been gifted to that special person.
Skeleton leaves are often seen when you walk under trees in the woods. During the Chinese Ming Dynasty, craftsmen developed a process to create them from green leaves. In the Victorian age, skeleton leaves were used to create "phantom bouquets" to impress the English nobility.
It is blank inside - add a lovely personal message and then the card itself can be framed to preserve the memory.
The card measures 5" x 7" and is sized to fit a standard-sized 5" x 7" frame.
Materials: special paper, skeleton leaves, envelope made from recycled paper. The entire piece is backyard compostable.
