A set of 4 blank greeting cards featuring the ladies from the We Wear Many Hats series. The set includes Clara Kept the Dog, Annie Can Fix It, Sarah Was Determined to be a Biochemist, and Many Persisted. Each card comes with a craft paper tan envelope, the set comes in a reusable tule bag.

This series is about women’s struggle to have it “all” and hold it all together. The teetering balance between the mental load we bear for our loved ones in addition to, and sometimes in opposition to our careers and passions. Sometimes we balance it gracefully and sometimes things get weird.
Heather searches for open source and public domain photos online, preferring portraits of women who are looking directly at the camera. These images are printed onto waterslide decal paper, sprayed with a waterproof layer of clear acrylic then dampened and collaged over abstract painted and collaged backgrounds.

About the Artist
Heather makes statement art and unique upcycled goods for tenacious people. Mixing colors, shapes and mediums, Heather’s work is multi-layered. She creates in any medium at hand: paint, ink, oil pens, pencils, collage, assemblage, printmaking, waterslide decals and laser-cut shapes. She is inspired by tenacity, growth, community, and humor.
