It is my collage type mixed mediums on a board. I used washi wrapping paper and cable cords from my house products which I probably will not use any more for my life activities. I try to express my old memories. Cherry blossoms will bloom every spring and Geisha girls who are Japanese cultural images, are showing Japanese dancings and songs to audiences.
Heron by the Sacramento River - $1200
It is my mixed mediums painting. I imaged those organic emadges a half abstraction and a half realistic. A bird lives with their habitat, but there are many artificial things surrounding them. Wild nature is not able to choose anything for them, but human will be able to change bad habits.
Two Trees - $1800
It is my mixed media painting. I added various textures with recycle items. I used some bubble wraps, some kitchen papers, fruits nets, washi wrapping papers, wires, and structures from umbrellas. If you go and see a beautiful woods, you also see many pollute items.

Yoshiko Castleberry, born near Tokyo, Japan, studied at Alburquerque, New Mexico in the later 2000s, then moved to Sacramento, California where she worked building art skills. She learned about colors and lights for her arts, and then she found her art style.
